Our Mission
At Bluegrass Youth Retreat, we believe in providing a fun and safe environment where children can learn, grow, and make lasting memories. Our camps goal is to foster creativity, build self-confidence, and promote teamwork and leadership skills all to be used for the glory of our God!
Our Staff
Our staff is made up of experienced and dedicated Christians who want to provide the best possible experience for your child. All of our counselors are focused on teaching and preparing our campers to better know God and to make lasting relationships with those who serve Him.
Our Facilities
We utilize the Bluegrass Christian Camp's beautiful campground to host our retreat each your. Hidden away off of Athens Boonesboro Road, their campground has been the home to many great retreats over the years! The cabins are clean and comfortable, and provide a home away from home for our campers.
Our Rules
To ensure a great experience for all, we have some camp rules we expect our campers to follow. From our dress code, to a list of things to make sure you bring and things to make sure you leave at home, our general information packet will make sure your camper is aware and prepared for a good time at the BYR! 2025 Bluegrass Youth Retreat
"In Need"
This years theme is "In Need" and we are excited to have Eric Parker from Louisville, KY coming to help us consider our great need for the righteousness of God! Here is a short message from Eric:
"Young people are growing up in an age more and more indifferent about belief in God and the importance of the Bible. Our greatest priority in responding to this spiritual calamity is to instill a desperate desire for God's Word. We must kindle fervor in our young people teaching them to acknowledge Scripture as God's perfect provision for every facet of life. From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows, we need God at every moment and, in His inexhaustible goodness, He provides for every single one of our needs."
